VILLAGE FAIR - The fair will take place over the weekend of June 26-27 at Cradley Church, opening on Saturday at 12.45pm and featuring Gilbert and Sullivan’s Ruddigore from scratch. Rehearsals for Ruddigore start at 1.30pm and the performance is at 7pm, followed by supper. The weekend will close with a sung evensong at 6pm on Sunday. If the last production from scratch (Pirates of Penzance in 2008) is anything to go by, this promises to be a spectacular evening. All you need is your voice in fine fettle combined with lots of enthusiasm. To sign up and sing, please ring Margaret Edgar on 01886 880529 by June 18. This promises to be a weekend packed full of fun and family entertainment with, of course, cream teas throughout. If you would like your organisation or business to be represented don’t miss this opportunity. Visit cradley.org.uk or ring Tony Copp on 07976 969537. To book a craft stall, ring Judi Creed-Newton on 01886 880534. The fair is in aid of Cradley Church and Village Hall.
