FETE - THE most traditional fete in Herefordshire is taking place on Saturday from 3pm to 5pm. This is the 56th year running that the Jack family has hosted the Huntington Fete, which takes place at Huntington Court, near Kington. Dorothy Jack, who hosts the fete, is an inspiring 95 years old and still presides over all the arrangements, including making most of the jams herself from the produce of her extensive walled garden. The Huntington Fete teas are legendary and strawberries and ice cream are eaten in abundance. There will be fun for all the family. A bus service runs from Kington Bus Station at 2.30pm returning at 5.30pm.
