WALK AND TALK - Enjoy a History Walk and Talk at The Hill Farm, Castle Frome, on Saturday. Meet at 1.45pm for a 2pm start. The guided walk will take 60-90 minutes and involves some uphill stretches. Please bring suitable footwear and clothing for the weather.
See the partly restored medieval fish pools, visit the baptismal pond and learn about the Herefordshire pioneers.
Also find out how local farming knowledge and skills revolutionised food production across the world. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. History displays and a wet weather alternative will be available.
There is no charge for the walk but donations are received for refreshments in aid of St Michael’s church.
Further details from Lousie Manning on 01531 640821.
HISTORIC CHURCHES CYCLE RIDE AND STRIDE - Also on Saturday, the church will be open all day and you can sponsor Sue Matthew on 01531 640795 to man the church for the whole time.
CHURCH DIARY - For family praise on Sunday at 11.20am you are asked to bring two pencils, preferably of different colours. There will be another quiet evening held at the church on Wednesday at 6.30pm. Come and enjoy some space for yourself, reflect for a time and chat over a cup of tea or coffee with fellow Christians. The PCC meeting is now at 7.30pm at The Hill Farm, on September 29. The communion service is on September 26 at 8.30am.
