CIDER DAY - On Saturday in the meadow of Orchard House by kind permission of Mr and Mrs Prosser, from 2pm until midnight, in aid of St. Mary’s Church and the community centre. The programme includes Morris dancers, cider making, displays of static engines, classic cars and tractors and the Landrover club. Other activities include shooting, skittles, clock golf, horseshoe pitching, chaff cutting and wood turning. Light refreshments and cider available from 2pm to 5pm, hot food from 5pm. Entrance opposite Taste for Adventure. Car parking and overnight parking available. The event is being dedicated to the memory of Iris Bowles, a long time servant, organist and fund-raiser of St Mary’s Church
