SIMPSON HALL DIARY - Today (Thursday), the retirement club meets at 2.30pm for entertainment by Burghill School Children. Tomorrow (Friday), Flicks in the Sticks is showing Ondine (12A). On Wednesday, Burghill CAP meets at 9am, and at 7.45pm there is Scottish dancing. Next Thursday, December 9, Burghill Bridge Club meets at 6.45pm.
CHURCH - On Monday there will be a soup lunch in the church and in the evening at 5.30pm there is handbell ringing. Also on Monday Burghill Church Choir invites you to join an evening of fun at Burghill Valley Golf Club at 7.30pm with festive music, including favourite carols, readings and a buffet. Tickets available from Graham Morris (01432 761599) at £8 and choir members. On Wednesday, Hereford Fire Choir present an evening of songs from around the world at 7.30pm in Burghill Church. Tickets £5 at the door.
