VILLAGE HALL - If you are looking for something to do after Christmas, there will be a range of flea, good cause and craft stalls selling everything from giant fans to Rhayader pottery, from Burn’s Night outfits to homespun woollen blankets, and from warm scones to seasonal jams and pickles at Little Hereford Village Hall on Sunday, starting at 10.30am. Good food will be served throughout the day with prices from 50p for cakes to £1.50 for a light lunch. Entrance is 50p giving 50p off the first tea or coffee but tea will be free at 3pm. A few £7 stalls remain.

SHOOT - Thanks go to the hardy souls who came out on Christmas bank holiday Monday to raise money for the Air Ambulance when Andrew Selly held a clay shoot at Upton Court Farm. There was a good turnout despite the terrible weather and organisers managed to raise £60. Thanks also to Chris Ham, Anthony Selly and the staff at the Temeside pub for their help.
