DRAMA SCHOOL - A new after-school drama class is being launched at Ann Cam CE Primary School.
Pupils aged two to six will be studying Watership Down in their first term which commences on March 1, from 3.20-4.30pm, with a parental performance at 4.45pm. The course will run until May 10.
The children are highly fortunate in that Bob Baker, BAFTA award-winning writer of Wallace and Gromit fame, will be devising a script especially for Ann Cam pupils. Leading the drama school will be Bob’s wife Marie Baker, who has worked as a performer for many years and appeared in theatrical and TV roles. Lately Marie has become Filton College’s Equity-recognised promotions director and has directed shows such as Little Shop of Horrors, The Wiz, Return to the Forbidden Planet, Hair, Godspell and many more.
