’AV A GO PANTO - Garway and Friends ’Av a Go Panto group is holding its annual show at Skenfrith Village Hall on February 25 and 26, at 7.30pm with a 2pm matinee on the Saturday. The panto will then move to Garway Village Hall for performances on March 4 and 5, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7 adults and £4 children (10 years and under).
Garway tickets are available from today (Thursday) at Broad Oak garage and The Garway Moon Inn and Skenfrith tickets from Kath Jasper on 01600 750361. Proceeds from the panto go towards the Midlands Air Ambulance, restoration of St Bridget's Church in Skenfrith and Garway Village Hall fund.
ANNUAL HEDGING MATCH - On February 27, from 10am onwards, Llangattock-vibon-Avel ploughing and agricultural society is holding its annual hedging match at New Ordden Farm at Whitecastle. There are competitions for beginners, young farmers, open and novice and a wire fencing competition with refreshments available. YOGA - Yoga classes are held every Wednesday from 6pm to 7.30pm at Skenfrith Village Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.
