MUSIC AND FIREWORKS - Following the success of its sell-out fund-raising event in 2010, Stretton Sugwas School PTA is pleased to announce the bigger and better line-up at this year’s music and fireworks extravaganza on May 21, in the school grounds. Headlining is the Hereford Police Male Choir – of Last Choir Standing fame – as well as the Tarrington Brass Band and the Hereford Concert Band. The event will also be supported by local craft stalls, a feast of local food companies and free children's entertainment.
The event will culminate in a fantastic firework extravaganza for all the family to enjoy. “With increasing pressure on school budgets the fund-raising work of the PTA is a great help,” said head-teacher Stephen Matthews. “We hope that this year’s event will help fund our sensory play area project to enhance the children's outdoor time.”
Tickets are £7.50 for adults, £2.50 for children and purchase prior to the event is essential. Gates open at 5pm. Small pop-up Gazebos allowed but no pets. Tickets will be available at The Village Store in Tillington and the school office. For further information, email admin@strettonsugwas.sch.org, call 01432 760282 or visit strettonsugwas.
