RINGCRAFT SOCIETY - The judge on April 20, was Robin Sadler who has shown dogs for more than 40 years and owned cocker spaniels, beagles, labradors and petit basset griffon vendeens. He selected Ann and Tracey McGuigan’s Chinese crested Habiba Oliver with a Twist for best puppy and best in match. Reserve best puppy was Sally Whistance’s pointer Caithpoint Inexcess.
Best veteran was Brenda Piears’ cardigan corgi Tyci Calon Lan. Best adult was Gill Watts’ pomeranian Billijees Forget Me Not at Elmway. Reserve adult was Mary Hughes’ cavalier King Charles spaniel Carolus Cindy Lou Evydal. At Leominster Show, Robin and Doreen Richardson’s lhasa apso Belazieth Hello Poppet was best puppy in breed and reserve in the puppy group. Anthony Brooks’ soft coated wheaten terrier Loofahsa Hayzee Fantayzee won best of breed and second in the terrier group. Val Jones’ rottweiller Dortmund Rock ’n’ Roll for Westfalen was best of breedand third in the working group, and Mandy Devereaux’s Jacawaca What a Cracker at Labweiler was reserve. Sarah Rees’ cavalier King Charles spaniel Tuscarana Carnellia was reserve best of breed. Congratulations go to Jeanette Shepherd and her golden retriever Mavistan Gypsy Rose of Beaujean on gaining her Kennel Club Good Citizen bronze award.
