OPEN GARDENS DAY - On June 5, from 11am to 6pm, a dozen gardens in and around Skenfrith village are open to visitors to help raise funds for St Bridget’s Church. Tickets, which include parking in the Bell Inn field, are £3.50, children free. A gardens map will be provided with tickets in the car park next to The Bell Inn. Most gardens are within easy walking distance but shuttle transport is provided for those unable to walk. There is limited wheelchair access at some gardens.
Refreshments and plants will also be on sale in some of the gardens. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Visit friendsofstbridgetsskenfrith.co.uk for details.
YOGA - Yoga classes are held every Wednesday from 6pm to 7.30pm at Skenfrith Village Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend.
