MUSIC - At a committee meeting at Credenhill social club, the concert that took place on the May 28 by the Helen Veriker singers was discussed and all agreed that it was a very successful night with everyone in attendance having a very enjoyable evening as well as managing to collect over £200 for St Michael's Hospice.
It was agreed to invite the singers back on July 9 to raise money for another worthwhile charity.
The committee also agreed that the club premises should be available free of charge to anyone wishing to organise entertainment for future charitable events.
It was also agreed that starting from July 4-23 a football knock out competition open to the whole of the county would take place, as well as regular Wednesday darts competitions and Thursday car boot sales. Any one wishing to organise charitable events should contact the club on 07779 130500.
