VILLAGE MARKET - The village market at Much Birch takes place tomorrow (Friday), in Much Birch community hall, just off the A49 between Hereford and Ross, between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
Please come and show your support for producers of meat (Moor Meals, Squeaky Pig and Llandinabo Farm Shop), cheese (The Traditional Cheese Company), bread (Julie Evans), preserves (Mr G’s Preserves and Chutneys), and Ray with her hand made chocolate. Also there are local craft stands, and a Fair Trade stand. Dan, who sharpens garden tools, knives and scissors, will be with us again. Much Birch WI has a book stall, the proceeds of which will go towards their charities for 2011, Herefordshire talking newspapers and the Hereford eye scanner appeal. Refreshments and take home cakes, are sold in aid of McMillan cancer support.
Please be aware that, while these details are correct at the time of going to press, I cannot guarantee stall holder’s presence, because of holidays. For further details please call Kath on 01981 540382.
HEREFORDSHIRE ADVANCED MOTORISTS - They hold three skills for life courses in Much Birch community hall. The next course begins in June, with the following one being in October. If you are interested in becoming a better driver, please contact Mary Bevan 01874 712267.
