A MAN reportedly threatened to shoot Tesco staff in Hereford after they refused to serve him toast.
It is alleged that the man got into an argument with coffee shop workers at the Belmont supermarket on Friday morning (June 17) and told them they he would come back with a gun to shoot them.
The man was ejected by security and a subsequent police seach was launched.
A 44-year-year man was later arrested on the A438 near Tarrington around two hours later.
He was arrested on suspicion to kill and taken to custody, but has been released on police bail.
He was also placed under the provisions of the Mental Health Act.
