A LIVELY, well-attended meeting was held at Clehonger Village Hall on September 27 to look at developing fresh activities in the hall.
The room was full of ideas and suggestions. Among the most popular were film screenings, computer club, book club, laughter yoga, cookery demonstrations and Heartstart.
Refreshed by tea, cakes and meeting people everyone agreed that a simple social gathering was also important. Action points were agreed for individuals to follow up.
People present were encouraged to volunteer their own expertise to lead activities and the group will be glad to hear from other people in the community who want to contribute to this.
A further meeting will be held on Tuesday at 3.30pm at the hall to check progress and start to put together a programme.
All are welcome. For further information please contact Jan Jeffries tel 01981 251237.
