PARISH COUNCIL - Attending the December meeting were eight councillors, Herefordshire ward councillor Mr D Taylor, the parish clerk and four members of the public. The parish council’s response to the Local Development Framework was discussed.
The next council meeting is on January 19 at 7.30pm at the Innesfield Community Centre. There will be a presentation on parish plans by the chief executive of Herefordshire Association of Local Councils, Linda Wilcox. The public are welcome to attend.
TUESDAY CLUB - The club started in the autumn to offer more opportunities to meet, share activities and ideas. So far it has launched a monthly book club, experimented with laughter yoga and relished a demonstration of a quick three-course meal.
Members have hopes of pooling recipes as the months go by into a cookery book. The book club has debated the pros and cons of living without money and Bill Bryson’s journeys in Europe, and is now embarking on Fred and Edie - billed as a latter day Madame Bovary. The next event is a cooking demonstration on Tuesday and sharing art and craft expertise on January 24. The group meets every Tuesday at Clehonger Village Hall at 3.30pm. New members and suggestions are very welcome. Further enquiries can be made to Jan Jeffries on 251237 or Carole Protherough on 01981 251012.
