GARWAY HERITAGE GROUP - The Archaeology of the Olchon Valley is the title of the meeting onTuesday, when Tim Hoverd will be giving an update of work recently undertaken by Herefordshire Archaeology.
For those who have seen the film Resistance or read the book, here is a chance to learn more about the beautiful and still relatively remote area of the county in which the story was set and filmed. 7.30pm start in Garway Village Hall; entrance is free for members, £3 for non-members, to include refreshments.
GARWAY LIVE - On Saturday at 7.30pm, chase those new year blues away with a superb blues night featuring young musicians from Malvern who call themselves Jeeves – inspired as a result of the guys playing the Upton Blues festival and Upton being the model for the Jeeves and Wooster fictional town of Market Snodbury. An opening stripped down set of guitar, vocals and keyboards and a main five-piece band set features more famous and rockier blues numbers. Doors and bar open 7pm.
