COFFEE - The women’s Bible study group at St Mary’s is holding a coffee morning at the church on Saturday from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Proceeds will go to Home-Start Herefordshire, a charitable organisation supporting young families going through a difficult time. There will be stalls selling books, homemade cakes, preserves and Traidcraft products with coffee, tea and cakes at the refreshment table. A January coffee morning is a good time to ask for donations of surplus/unwanted Christmas presents in the form of toiletries to be given to Radnorshire Women’s Aid which provides help to victims of domestic violence. Previous coffee mornings have proved hugely successful as the village, friends and families have been very generous. Everyone is invited to a thoroughly enjoyable social occasion.
