COFFEE - There will be a coffee morning at Bishop Frome Village Centre tomorrow (Friday) from 10am to noon. Coffee and cakes/biscuits and a raffle ticket all for £1.
Plus there’ll be a preview of old photos of the parish which will be on display for the community plan event starting at 6.30pm.
COMMUNITY-LED PLAN - The plan, covering Fromes Hill and Bishops Frome needs local residents to voice their opinions as to what they would like to see happen in their community in the future. Come along to one of four planning for real events starting this weekend to voice likes, dislikes and hopes for the future. The main event is on Saturday from 10.30am to 2.30pm at Bishop’s Frome Village Centre where, as an aside, there will be a mobile zoo, a display of old parish photographs, Euroheat fires display and a chance to meet the local footpaths officer who will have maps of walks and information on walking the area. In addition there will be large scale maps of the parish on which residents can pinpoint issues of local concern and put down details of wishes for the future. There will be three other planning for real events. The first will be tomorrow (Friday) from 6.30pm-9pm at Bishops Frome Village Centre. On Monday from 6pm to 8pm and on March 10, from 1pm till 4pm, there will be meetings at the Wheatsheaf pub at Fromes Hill. At all events there will be free food and drink.
