LUNCH - There will be a Lent lunch at Bishop Frome Village Centre tomorrow (Friday) from noon to 2pm. The hosts will be Castle Frome and Fromes Hill PCCs and proceeds will go to Blackmarston School, Hereford. The next lunch will be at Firlands, Bishop’s Frome, on March 16.
COMMUNITY-LED PLAN - The last of four public Planning for Real events inviting residents to take part in the Plan is at the Wheatsheaf pub on Saturday, from 1pm to 4pm. Local residents of all ages are encouraged to voice their opinions and to comment as to what they would like to see happen in their community in the future. Free food and drink will be provided.
COUNCIL - Bishop’s Frome and Fromes Hill Parish Council meets in the village centre at 7.30pm Tuesday. All parishioners welcome.
HATS AND PUDS - There will be a hats and puds evening at Bishop’s Frome Village Centre from 7.30pm on April 20, with prizes for the best hat/fascinator. An optional theme will be red, white and blue. Tickets, £6, can be bought now from the Hop Pocket, the village shop or from 01885 490203. Puddings will be provided. Proceeds go to St Mary’s Church.
SINGING FOR FUN - The next session is tomorrow (Friday) in Bishops Frome Village Centre from 7.30pm. It has been established that singing is life enhancing. Details from Richard on 01885 490628.
