PLANS for Britain's biggest natural gas pipeline, proposed to pass through much of south Herefordshire and the Golden Valley, have been punctured again.
This week, Forest of Dean District Council refused planning permission for a pipeline terminal at Corse, where high-pressure liquified natural gas would be pumped into the existing national grid.
In August, Herefordshire planners refused National Grid permission to build a pipeline compressor station at Peterstow because of concerns about its environmental impact.
