A SCHOOL for students with severe learning difficulties has celebrated its 20th birthday.
Womaston is a residential school at Walton, near Kington, with 16 students.
A new play area was opened and there was a display of work, a celebratory disco and barbeque. Guests included John Beckett, the original school principal, Bill Mumford, managing director of the MacIntyre Charity which runs the school, and Brenda Mullen, director of Lifelong Learning.
