A SCHOOL has risen from the ashes after suffering a serious fire in 2004.
Kingston and Thruxton Primary School has gone through two consecutive academic years of major disruption due to rebuilding work needed after the blaze.
Sally Johnson, school secretary, said: "The enthusiasm and positivity exuding from pupils, staff and parents is a major indication that everyone here at Kingstone and Thruxton feel things are just getting better and better.."
The school held the official opening of the new entrance to the school at the start of October with contributions from the children and help from the school choir.
