MUDDY feet should be a thing of the past for children at a Herefordshire school - thanks to major improvements to a public path.
The footpath, which runs through the grounds of Mordiford Primary School, used to get very muddy due to waterlogging and the flow of dirty footwear and meant the school was always battling to keep clean.
Herefordshire Council's Public Rights of Way Network commissioned Jarvis Services to lay a hard surface on the path after locals had highlighted their concerns in a questionnaire The work should also provide a safer surface for villagers making their way to the local bus stop.
