WHITECROSS composer Robert Spearing will have a new work performed at The King's School, Worcester on Saturday.
The piece, which was commissioned to commemorate the opening of the school's new library, is entitled wings...dreams and is a setting of lines by Wordsworth extolling the virtues of the imagination, as stimulated by nature and the world of books.
The work is scored for mixed voices, solo cello and piano duo, and will be performed by the school's specialist Keys Society Choir, which is run and directed by sixth formers.
