SECRETS of the Herefordshire countryside will be revealed on a guided walk to the ancient hill fort of Croft Ambrey on Saturday at 2pm.
Dr Keith Ray of the county archaeological department will lead the walk, which is quite steep in places.
The remains of the fort lie on a ridge to the north of Croft Castle, near Leominster.
Excavations have revealed it was built around 500BC. Pre-booking is essential on 01568 780246.
