STAFF at Specsavers Opticians in Hereford have seen their way to being nominated for three Excellence in Eyecare awards.
The store, at 12 Maylord Street, , has been short-listed in three out of the eight award categories, including; Community Eyecare, Contact Lens Practice and Dispensing.
The Excellence in Eyecare Awards recognise the very best in eyecare retailing.
The store, which beat off stiff competition from more than 200 fellow stores across the UK and Ireland, will go forward to a gala final in November when the overall national winners in each category will be announced.
We are absolutely delighted, it's a real testament to the team here,' says, store director Nialle Smith.
"We've had a record numbers of entries of a very high standard so it's been a difficult task to narrow it down.
"Hereford has done extremely well to pick up three nominations; it's a great achievement and staff should feel very proud of themselves', says judge and co-founder of Specsavers Optical Group Mary Perkins.
