TS ELIOT EVENT - The Friends of St Faith’s, Dorstone, are holding Meeting Mr Eliot - The Man Behind the Mask, a unique fund-raising evening for lovers of the poetry of TS Eliot.
Reminiscences of family, friends and people who worked with him are brought together to help reveal the real person behind the public persona. The evening will be presented by Sue Harries, who began her career as Eliot’s secretary at Faber & Faber, and John Hedges, the well-known BBC Radio 4 newsreader, who has also narrated many TV documentaries such as the Survival series.
