ORIENTEERING SUCCESS - Two Longtown pupils came out on top when more than 220 children took part in the second primary schools’ orienteering event hosted by Cross Ash Primary School. James Fawcett and William Williams from Longtown completed the A and B courses in the winning times of 6.55 and 6.25 respectively. On the B course Longtown fielded no fewer than three of the top five pairs – Jon Phillips and Olly Reynolds achieved thirrd place in 7.39, closely followed by Jaya Bal and Joseph Fawcett who gained fourth place in 7.58.
