FIREFIGHTERS saved Herefordshire voters' records from going up in smoke after an arsonist torched a motorcycle by the door of council offices in Leominster.
Two crews, some wearing breathing apparatus, tackled the early morning blaze which destroyed the stolen bike, the door and staff entrance of Herefordshire Council's electoral registration office.
Police said Monday's incident at the site, off Etnam Street, was being treated as arson.
