COFFEE - A coffee morning in aid of St Mary’s Church will take place at Cokesyeld Farm, by invitation of Mary McQuiston, on June 30. Starting at 10.30am, entrance is £2, which includes coffee and biscuits. There will also be a raffle and a bring-and-buy.
WHIST - On a very warm evening, MC Rick Harris welcomed players to the whist drive in the village hall. Prizes were won by Margaret Kerrigan, Kath Evans, Beryl Lewis, Betty Lane Allan Exton. Trevor Chant, Mario Battenti, Marge Drew and Mary Gates. The next event will be on Tuesday at 7.45pm.
SOCIAL CLUB - A tour of the Morgan Factory at Malvern will take place on June 21, departing from the village hall at 10am. The cost of the coach will be about £10. The twohour tour will cost £10. The return journey will start at 3pm. Book with Peter Hall on 01544 327259. Non-members are welcome.
OPEN GARDEN - The garden at Batch Cottage, Almeley, will be open on Sunday from 2.30pm-6pm. Entrance £3.50. Plants and cream teas will be available. For more details, call 01544 327469.
