COUNCIL - The annual statutory and open meetings of Clehonger Parish Council were held at the Innesfield Community Centre with nine councillors, the parish clerk, county Councillor Taylor, and eight members of the public. The chairman, vice-chairman and officers were elected. It was agreed that the parish freighter would be coming to Clehonger Village Hall car park on July 7 between 11am and 1pm – an opportunity for local residents to dispose of unwanted items.
Further details are on the parish notice boards by Clehonger Church, outside the Top Shop in Birch Hill Road and in Poplar Road.
The next meeting of the parish council is on June 21 at 7.30pm at the Innesfield Community Centre. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
