LEGION PARADE - The Royal British Legion Herefordshire County Parade is in Madley on June 24. It will form at 2.30pm and march through the village to the church, where the service will start at 3pm. Dignitaries attending include the Lord Lieutenant, chairman of Herefordshire County Council, the high sheriff and the mayor of Hereford. The parade will be headed by the Northfield Pipes and Drum Band, followed by standard bearers, RBL members and cadets units from around the county. After the service the parade will march through the village and the Lord Lieutenant will take the salute, the parade will continue up to Archenfield. Guests and the congregation are then welcome to go to the village hall for refreshments.
