BOWLS - Last Saturday Eardisland recorded a 114 shots to 38 triples win over Bromyard in damp and miserable conditions, with wins on all four rinks. The highest scoring rink was skip Gill Williams, Phil Lynne and Cheryl Morgan, while there were also wins for skips Ray Jones, Jayne Sharp and husband Phil.
OPEN BEE MORNINGS - There was plenty of enthusiastic support for the two open bee mornings hosted by Annie and Keith Mitchell, with nearly 40 people attending, including 16 children. Keith gave a very interesting talk on beekeeping before opening his hives for viewing as well as handing out fact sheets.
Thanks go to Annie for scones and coffee, with donations to St Michael’s Hospice.
PARISH COUNCIL - The next meeting is today (Thursday) at 7.30pm in the village hall.
