COFFEE - Come to the village hall on September 28 and join in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning. Organised by the Almeley Women's Institute, it will start at 10.30am and run until noon.
CHURCH - The next family service in St Mary's Church will be at 11am on Sunday.
The Harvest Festival is on October 5 at 7pm.
It will be followed by a bring and share harvest supper in the church.
LUNCH - On September 30 there will be a Sunday lunch in the village hall at 12.30 for 1pm. There are three excellent courses and the choice of tea or coffee. VENUS WALK - Three Almeley women, Dorothy Hall, Monica Wilkins and Anne Gadsby were members of a group of 750 women who took part in the St Michael's Venus Walk on September 16. They wish to thank all their supporters.
FLICKS IN THE STICKS - The first film of our new season is The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. September 27, 7.30pm in the village hall. Ample parking, bar, cabaret seating.
