MARKET - The village market takes place tomorrow (Friday) in Much Birch Community Hall from 2.30pm to 4.30pm with local suppliers of pork, sausage, beef, ready meals, pies, chicken, duck, lamb, cheese, chutneys, jams, pickles, apples, pears and fruit juices, a Fairtrade stand and craft stalls. Much Birch WI has a bookstall, raising money for the Cobalt Trust, and Dan is back this month to sharpen garden tools etc. Refreshments and takeaway cakes are made and sold by Chris and Peter, with proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support. PARISH COUNCIL - There will be an information evening on Monday, at 7.30pm at Much Birch Community Hal’s Arthur Harris Room.
The evening is being organised in association with the Hereford Association of Local Councils and the purpose is to provide information as to how you can become a councillor and help to make a difference to your local community. The next meeting of the council will be next Thursday, October 4, at 7.30pm at the hall.
SCHOOL PRAISE - Much Birch Primary School has been recognised for its good provision of art education for the second time. It will celebrate achieving the Artsmark Gold award with art, drama and music on October 20 at the school from 10am to noon.
