A HEREFORD office block could soon be turned into student accommodation, if Herefordshire Council gives plans the green light.
Mr Manning, on Manbro Developments, wants to turn the building in Widemarsh Street into student accommodation, which would be made up of 27 en-suite rooms.
Plans submitted to Herefordshire Council show the Sullivan House development would incorporate 30 cycle parking spaces, common rooms, and recreation areas, if approved.
A noise impact assessment report said: "The proposed development comprises the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the existing building to form student residential accommodation at first and second floor levels with habitable rooms facing onto Widemarsh Street and the rear elevations on the north and south facades.
"The basement will be refurbished to provide common social spaces for the residents and an external courtyard near the Catherine Street entrance will provide access to external amenity space."
Plans show the building's walls would be clad in metal, with double glazed windows introduced.
