TWO Hereford restaurants have been forced to close temporarily due to staff shortages caused by coronavirus isolation rules.
The Burger Shop in Aubrey Street said it would be moving staff around other A Rule of Tum ventures to be able to reopen on Wednesday, but Indian-inspired street food restaurant Barabeka would remain closed all week.
Coronavirus rules mean hospitality workers have to self-isolate for 10 days if they come into contact with someone with the virus.
But it's left The Burger Shop with a lack of staff.
It said: "We’re going to close Burger Shop Hereford for the next two days, due to a lack of staff because of Covid isolation orders.
"We’re working on moving our team around and getting back open for Wednesday where we will be showing the football in The Yard (stay tuned for more info) "Barabeka will be closed all week. The Bookshop is open as normal.
"We hope to be back to serving burgers soon, in the meantime our good friends at The Beefy Boys will sort you out with a banging burger."
