A POPULAR fish and chip shop in a Herefordshire village is set to reopen under new owners.
Zac Zachariou and his fiancee Leftie Charalambous have bought the Old School House shop in Moreton-on-Lugg, near Hereford.
Mr Zachariou has experience in running fish and chip shops and has owned two in his native South Yorkshire, whilst Leftie is part of the family that run Dimarcos fish restaurant in Leominster.
They are now looking to pull their expertise and pour it into this new business, to be renamed The Fish House.

Mr Zachariou says that his fiancee's family will be heavily involved in helping them get off the ground.
He said: "Dimarcos is very much a family business, and Leftie's dad Dimitri who owns the restaurant is very hands on. He will be there every step of the way to support us"
After buying the shop, situated near the village hall, the couple noticed a great interest from villagers about the new business.
Mr Zachariou said: "I've been in and out of the shop, and people are constantly coming in for a chat. When I tell them about our plans for the place everyone we meet is really excited."
The couple are in the process of renovating the space and are hoping to open in early May.
Mr Zachariou said: "We want people to know that Moreton's chippy is back and that it is in good hands"
