AN SAS veteran who went on to become a TV star and published author is to appear in Hereford.
Mark 'Billy' Billingham will be at HR4K in Thorn Business Park in Rotherwas sharing his military and security experiences of working in hostile environments.
Mr Billingham joined the SAS in 1991 and has been responsible for planning and executing strategic operations and training at the highest level in locations including Iraq, Afghanistan, South America and Africa and has also lead countless hostage rescues.
After his military career, Billy became a bodyguard and looked after celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Kate Moss, Russell Crowe and Tom Cruise.

He shot to fame as one of the stars of Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins where he is an instructor to the recruits.
Mr Billingham will lead an introductory day course in situational awareness at the event on Saturday, November 5.
His team of experts will deliver case study briefs and basics skills to help people learn how to deal with difficult situations when the odds are stacked against them.
The day will include insights on how to deal with every type of situation.
Experts in the field will explain, demonstrate and give participants a chance to practice new skills at the event.
