A SHOP in Hereford city centre which was forced to shut as water poured through its roof has reopened.
Health and beauty chain Savers said its Eign Gate shop was closed due to the leak.

Savers, which also has branches in Leominster, Abergavenny, Worcester and Gloucester, said it was working with contractors to fix the problem.

On Sunday, the shop said the roof had been repaired, but the wet weather meant work was taking longer than expected.
Over the first few days of November, parts of the country faced a huge deluge.

Former Environment Agency boss Dave Throup said parts of southeast England had seen almost 50mm of rain in the last 24 hours – more than half of November’s monthly average.
The shop was able to reopen on Tuesday (November 8).
