SHELVES empty as efforts to save Wilko fail.
The company collapsed into administration earlier this month, putting more than 400 stores and around 12,000 jobs at risk.
The Hereford branch is located in the Maylords shopping centre and concerns have been raised over the future of the property if the company went.
While there was hope of a buyout by restructuring specialist M2 Capita, negotiations around the bid have fallen through as the company could not prove it had the necessary funds to purchase the retailer.

At around nine AM on August 31, when the Hereford Times visited, some of the shop’s shelves were completely empty.
The sight was not surprising considering the administration sale discounts on offer, with duvets and kitchen items being 20 per cent off.
In an 'everything must go' effort to get rid of excess stock, Halloween and Christmas items were unseasonably on sale for a significantly reduced price.
As stock appears to be running out and job cuts are set to start as early as next week, it’s not clear how long Hereford’s Wilko will remain open.
