A HEREFORD gym is to have a substantial refurbishment next month.
There will be over 60 pieces of new equipment on the way at thePoint4, with the work being carried out on November 8 and 9.
The gym, off Venns Lane, will be the first in the city to install a Jacobs Ladder, offering a full body workout and a huge calorie burn of up to 650kcals in 30 minutes.
The refurbishment is designed to make sure gym goers can keep their workouts dynamic and fresh with other new equipment including the Concept2 Ski Erg, upgraded cardio machines, new resistance options and a brand new Functional Training Rig.

There will also be a piece of equipment called the Tyre Flip 180, as well as another cable machine, hack squat and glute drive.
Lucy Proctor, executive principal at the Royal National College for the Blind, said: “We are so pleased to be able to invest in the future of thePoint4, not only because it will provide state-of-the-art facilities for our students and our gym members, but also because thePoint4 plays such an important part in the development of our students.”
Anyone who wishes to try out the refurbished gym can pop along to an open day held at thePoint4 from 9am to 4pm on Sunday, November 26.
