A HEREFORD petrol station is to be taken over this week.
The forecourt in Holmer Road is currently run by the Co-op.
However, from 6pm on Wednesday (November 8) it will close, with Asda taking over the reins from 10am on Friday (November 10).

The move is part of the supermarket giant's acquisition of 129 of Co-op's petrol stations, as well as three development sites. The £600 million deal was aimed at helping the Co-op's finances.
Most of the shop's shelves have emptied as it gets ready for the change, with it becoming an Asda Express.
The garage was previously a Texaco, with the Co-op running the shop.
However, a £1.7 million refurbishment in 2020 saw the shop become bigger and the Co-op replacing the Texaco branding in the forecourt.
The latest change will mean that there will be two Asda petrol stations in Hereford, with the other off Belmont Road.
