A HEREFORD shop will be closing its doors after five years in the city.
Fox and Mabel, a home and luxury store with a coffee bar based out of a unit in the Old Market, has announced that it will be closed by January 27, if not before.
An everything-must-go sale is now in place and will continue until either the shelves are entirely empty or the final closing date arrives.

A spokesperson for the shop said that after five years of navigating a business landscape wrought by Brexit, lockdowns, and the cost-of-living crisis, the Fox and Mabel team have decided to close the shop to allow them to regroup and consider their next move.
The spokesperson said: “We’ve made the decision to close. It’s our decision and we’re doing it because it’s the right thing for us. We aren’t doing it because we have to.
“We’re a bit overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and loyalty. We appreciate you all and we don’t think we realised just how much love there is.”
