A BRAND new charity shop will be opening in Hereford next month.
St Michael's Hospice is taking over the former Iceland premises in Eign Gate.
The shop - which we understand should be open by the second week in February - will offer over 4,000 square feet of shopping space where customers can browse pre-loved clothing, children’s toys and equipment, homeware, books, music, and more.
The site will also include a drop-and-go donation zone at the rear of the shop in West Street, where customers can pull in and park to drop off their goods.
ALSO READ:
The premises has been closed since September 2022 after Iceland opened its Food Warehouse outlet on the Salmon Retail Park in the city's Holmer Road.
The shop won't be the only new place that St Michael's Hospice will be moving into it.
The charity will also be opening up a new warehouse at Whitestone Business Park after purchasing the IJL Brown furniture shop.
It comes after the Holmer Road shop closed last week after serving people for 10 years.
