A NEW shop has opened in the centre of Hereford today (February 9).
St Michael’s Hospice opened the doors of their new charity shop in the former Iceland premises in Eign Street at 10 am.
The shop offers over 4,000 square feet of shopping space where customers can browse pre-loved clothing, children’s toys, equipment, homeware, books, music, and more.

A ‘drop-and-go donation zone’ is up and running at the rear of the shop, where locals can pull in and park to easily drop off donations.
As of next Monday (February 12) the shop will open from 9 am to 5 pm every day except Sunday but due to technical difficulties, the store is currently cash only, with the issue expected to be resolved soon.
The Eign Gate premises is but one of a pair of new shops the hospice will be opening this year, as the charity has been setting up its largest outlet to date complete with a café and a donation centre at the former IJL Brown site in Whitestone Business Park.
