A NEW waffle business is launching in Hereford.
Owned by Ryan Blanchard, Waffle Shack will be at the Military Club's family fun day this Saturday (March 23). Taking advantage of the street food vibe, fans of the sweet treat can eat on the go with the waffles coming on a stick.
"When you’re at a wedding or a party, you don’t need to sit down to eat, that is the vision for the waffle shack," said Mr Blanchard, who is aged 43.

"I had originally planned to launch this summer. However, I started drip-feeding social media with the waffle shack and the response was overwhelming.
"Therefore, I decided to launch earlier."
The waffles come in six flavours - Oreo, flake, Biscoff, Eton mess, salted caramel fudge, and white chocolate and raspberry. However, the menus will vary from event to event.
"I will showcase at least five regular toppings but I will try to add at least two ‘limited edition’ toppings at each event," said Mr Blanchard.
"But for the time being, I will be focusing on waffles only."
Other independent traders and craftspeople will be joining in the family fun day, including Greek Escape serving authentic traditional Greek cuisine, Sweets and Sparkles, who will be offering freshly spun candy floss, loaded popcorn and sweet treats, and Mama's Artisan Fudge.
There will also be face painting, kids fun fair rides and carnival games throughout the day from midday to 4pm.
