A HEREFORD cocktail bar is closing.
Lupa, which is at the former Bowling Green pub in Bewell Street near Tesco, has said it will be shutting up shop after two-and-a-half years.
Writing on its Facebook page, Lupa Hereford said: "We have had some brilliant times with you and have absolutely love being part of Hereford city, but it is time to move on and focus on our sister business Cotto Hereford and exciting times doing festivals.

Why this popular Herefordshire bar still can't serve alcohol
"We’d personally like to thank you all for supporting a small family business and making our staff love their job."
However, Lupa confirmed that it's not all sad news now, because it will be taking over by the Patty Parlour, who 'will be coming in with a brand new venue, ideas and a completely new outlook on our building.'
Situated just a few yards away, the Patty Parlour opened last July, serving a variety of speciality burgers.
