There's certainly cause to celebrate for a Hereford pub, as it reopens under new management and an exciting new menu.
The Swan Inn has been officially taken over as of October 1, with a new team of eager staff ready to greet both regulars and newcomers to the Aylestone Hill pub.
Landlord Adam Wilcox, who is a freelance pub operator and works directly with breweries, pub companies, and freehold landlords, will be in charge of the pub, which will be overseen daily by pub manager, Kyle Lockley.

Mr Wilcox said the first few days had been "fantastic" and added he had spoken to many customers who had not visited the pub for years but are now excited to return.
He said the team has been working on the pub daily, painting, carrying out repairs, and installing new lighting.
A new menu will be launched on Tuesday, while carvery was on offer on Sunday.
The pub's new menu features pub classic dishes, with wholetail scampi and hunter's chicken up for grabs, and a selection of intriguing pies from the PieMinister range, including British chicken tikka pie and a classic beef steak, kidney and ale pie.
For dog lovers, the Swan could be their new spot, as Mr Wilcox has said he has re-opened an old walk bridge from the field to the rear of the pub, making it "ideal for dog walkers" to pop in with their furry friends.
